Seafood Paella
Ingredients needed
RECIPE FOR 4 PERSONS:
- 300 g of rice (preferably, round or bomba rice)
- 200 g cooked prawns
- 200 g cooked mussels
- 150 g squid squid
- Bell pepper
- Ripe tomato
- 1 liter of fish broth (preferably homemade)
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
- Natural saffron or paella colorant
- Olive oil
- Salt to taste
Recipe preparation
- Place the clay paella pan on the ceramic hob over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, sauté the bell pepper.
- Add the grated tomato and the sweet paprika, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- When a kind of sofrito is formed, add the squid and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the rice and stir so that it absorbs all the flavors.
- Pour the fish stock (preferably hot) and add saffron or coloring and salt to taste.
- Once the rice is cooked, place the prawns and mussels evenly over the rice.
- Remove the clay paella pan from the heat, cover it with a kitchen towel and let it rest for a few minutes to allow all the flavors to permeate.
* Once the rice is cooked, avoid stirring so that the delicious rice crust can form on the bottom.
